Much Madness is Divinest Sense

Do you guys feel like there’s something different about the seventh season of Doctor Who? Like, it’s still good, and I will always be a dedicated fan, but I feel like something isn’t quite there. I loved 5 and 6. Maybe it’s Clara? I am  not as willing to embrace her confidence and personality I think because I haven’t seen her develop—with Amy and Rory we watched them go from insecure and scared to more familiar with the universe and traveling with the Doctor. With Clara it’s like she has this confidence and sass that doesn’t seem earned. It probably has something to do with her unknown origins at this point, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Moffat drops a huge twist on her identity and clears up this whole issue eventually. But for now….I don’t know.
